Whew.

This morning was shitty. I woke up at 11, took a shower, and felt so weak that it was hard to squeeze the shampoo bottle. After that, I immediately passed out in my bed for a few more hours. I've been out doing things Days One-Five, but I dub Day Six as my much needed day of rest. I'm currently curled up on the couch in warm clothes, with a blankey, and my spicy lime water. And I'm gonna watch good TV until my eyes melt.

Yesterday, Mike and I applied to Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza in Brandon. It's not too far away, since we live right by the interstate. Steph and Leanne work at the Tampa location, and the Brandon location is just opening up. I'll know Tiffany, who is transferring to that store. Well, and Mike, if we both get the job. Crossed fingers. I miss working and money. Outback was great while it lasted, but it really just ended up not working out in the end, and it's time for a different job. Awesome reference though. Awesome time. Did I mention I miss having money? Anthony's will be calling next week. Good thing I gave them the house phone number, because my phone is still in Orlando.

Story: Josh was housesitting for a family friend, he had some people over, the lady came home early, I woke up, woke him up, he said to rally everyone out of there. So, hurriedly, I did. In the chaos, I left my phone and shoes in that house. I left for Tampa the next day. Tried getting in touch with Josh to help me get my stuff back (I didn't even mention the shoes, just the phone). I called, no answer. I Facebooked, he deleted his Facebook. (He would) I called, left a voicemail. No reply. I called yesterday, and was like "Hey Joshua [insert rest of full name here], it's Riley [" "]. I don't know what's up with you not responding to me, but I really just hope everything is okay. You're my brother, just shoot me a line when you get a chance please. Here's my house phone number. I love you." Then, I called Sean to see if he's heard from him. He began to tell me that they had a run in with the cops this weekend. They were smoking a bowl at festival bay, and they got pulled over for something. Sean put everything under the passenger seat. Cop found it, Josh's car, Josh goes to jail, Sean doesn't. So he was there apparently for the weekend, and was working yesterday when I called him. That really sucks.

Soooooooooooo now that I know the story, and that he probably knows I know the story, do I stop calling? Do I stop caring about getting my phone back? I'm not being sarcastic, like, seriously... what do I do in this case? I mean I was upset when I heard what happened to him, because he's never been to jail, and he's honestly the most amazing guy I've ever known. He is, no lie, my brother, and I care immensely about him. So I'm trying to be sensitive in contacting him in general. And furthermore acquiring this phone back! Ugh. What to do. :(

I totally forgot to mention that I now make the PERFECT batch of spicy lime water. It's done efficiently and correctly, boom boom. I make Phillip try a sip of each batch, to tell me what it tastes like. I've apparently become immune to the concoction, and am virtually tastebud-less when it comes to drinking it. Phillip says this batch tastes perfect, like juice, but not sweet. It tastes like just water to me, haha.

I made Steph and Phillip catfish last night. I'm not gonna lie, I've never cooked catfish in my life. But I read a recipe online, changed it around to my liking, and went for it. I've learned that I'm actually a fantastic cook! I get ideas all the time, and I can tell what things are missing, or what ingredients compliment others. I took three catfish filets, marinated them in Italian dressing, and coated them in a breadcrumb mixture (breadcrumbs, seasoning salt, thyme, parsley, sea salt, ground pepper, lemon juice, italian seasoning) and baked it at 450 for 10 minutes. Then, I took them out, sprinkled them with Romano cheese and a Cajun spice similar to paprika, and popped them back in for 2 minutes. They came out looking delicious. By the time I was done cooking, I had so much of the strong smells, that I didn't even have an appetite anymore. I tried the babiest bite of it, (totally against the cleansing rules, but it was so tiny, back off my shit) and it was delicious. Next time, I need to cook it juuuuust a little longer to make the outside even crispier. I sound like a total nerd.

Speaking of which, family guy blue harvest never ceases to crack me up.

I, once again, have no idea what to be for Halloween. This will be the first Halloween in forever that I'm going to be sober! That's going to be fun to explain to everyone.

I'm saving up to buy an upright piano for the apartment. We have enough room in the living room. Steph wants one too, Phillip is cool with it, I need it. It is necessary for my happiness, I've decided. This keyboard is not cutting it. I want to learn ukelele soon.

Au revoir, mes petites amis.
