side note for the night...
today, victor posted a picture of himself wearing a shirt boasting a skull and the words "anti-racist action."
immediately i thought :
"what the fuck have you done to end racism? what actions have you taken?"
but soon realized after thinking that those thoughts make me a hypocrite.....
not being racist is not anti-racist action.
white people are too fucking blind, too fucking self-absorbed to even begin to understand where nearly any other race is coming from. and yes, i do include myself in that statement. its not any of our faults though. the anglo-saxon/caucasion/white/whatever race doesnt have the same tears in its history.
sometimes it even makes me want to be exploited, enslaved, tortured, murdered next to my friends and family.
if thats what its going to take to end racism for good, then im ready to die.
white people need to realize that being guiltless does not lift ANY of the responsibility from their shoulders.
because we've committed no crime, wished no harm, spoken not harshly towards other races does not mean that we should not feel responsible for taking real action against racism as a whole.
our cities are built on the blood of non-white races. its all of our responsibilities...
and im pissed that ive done nothing more than lived a guiltless, white life.....
