What kind of powers might be helpful?

Offensive ones. Preferably something that could be focused, to hit a specific point. We're trying to weaken the barrier around the island.

I have something like that, though it's used against spirits, and requires a bow.

Bows can be bought at the weapons shop, if I'm recalling correctly. But it could work, if you are willing.
