Strategy 82: The higher you fly, the harder you fall [Video Post]
[The LP turns on when the little white dragon drops it, high in the mountains next to a very familiar (to some) cave mouth. Kaiba lands in front of it, his blue eyes unblinking, as he’s checking to make sure it’s on. He can’t carry it with him while he’s in the caves, but it can document his entrance, as well as any noises coming from inside while he investigates how close their captor would let him get with his wings.
He snorts, satisfied, before taking to the air again. He loops once to get enough lift, before diving down into the cave mouth. A few moments later, there’s a very human cry of surprise, and a lot of scuffling in the cave. Kaiba slowly pulls himself out, scratched and bleeding where he fell against the cave wall, very human, and very naked except for his card locket hanging over his chest.
He rolls over on his back to catch his breath and reaches for the LP, offering a very nice but brief look at the small scars over his heart and the extensive scarring on his back.]
Predictable as usual. Unhelpful, as usual. Though I’m surprised she didn’t change me back over an area where I could not catch myself. It’s what a wiser captor would do.
[He gets up shakily, not used to using those long legs anymore, and does his best to brush off the blood and gravel still clinging to him. The LP stays artfully angled away from inappropriate areas as well as his back. He glances at the long path down the mountain and into the forest, then at his bare feet. He frowns slightly.]
Hn. No point going in like this. It should be dark by the time I get back down there, at least. Usagi, I need to speak to you..while I still can.
