Kid, I hope everything goes well today. I have to admit that I don’t really like being kept out of the loop like this, but I do understand your need for privacy in such matters. That said, if there is a next time, I must insist that somebody goes with you. It doesn’t have to be me though I would prefer it, and you don’t have to arrange it yourself. If you want, I’ll even ask Yami or the Mutt to follow out of sight on these..outings. I am growing exceedingly concerned about some of the things appearing on the Island’s network lately, and I know you got used to the bodyguards in Domino. You can get used to this too. I’m even willing to talk to you about it first, and I'll get you a chocolate parfait while we do it. Just..something needs to be done.
I am quite surprised that our captors were not as completely stupid as I thought. In limiting my resources and not letting me keep my laptop, my credit cards, or my checkbook, they’ve certainly made at least a fleeting attempt to limit my ability to escape. What I wish to remind them is that Kaiba Seto does not give up so easily.
While I decide on how exactly to go about things, I have also picked up a job at this so called ‘arcade’ that has appeared here. The state of it is appalling, honestly. I’m sorry to know that Kaiba Corporation never tried to obtain market share here, because it has become obvious that we would simply wipe the floor with this ‘Carpal Tunnel.” Lucky for all of you, I have decided to take it upon myself to bring the place up to standards. Unfortunately, this island doesn’t appear to have the parts I need to install KaibaCorp’s signature Solid Vision Holographic TechTM, but the machines they do have can and will be improved. For that goal to be reached quickly, I’d appreciate it if all of you would take the simple Kaiba Corporation Customer Survey below. I think I remember how Marketing worded things.. I will remind you though, this is still my journal space. Comments that waste my time or just take up space will not be tolerated.
