Fool Me Once...
Georgie has something to tell her. Zoe won't be fooled again.
"Fool me once, Georgie..."
Georgie bit his lip, desperately trying to ignore the tingling behind his eyes. Zoe looked up at him, sad and hurt even though she was the one hurting him, killing him, destroying him.
"Please, Zoo...please," Zoe shook her head, trying to block out his voice. Georgie gripped her chin, hand shaking and titled her gaze back up.
"I lo-" she slapped his hand away, glaring at him.
"Don't you dare say it," Georgie couldn't stop the tears now, he turned away so she didn't see. Zoe grew furious as he turned away, she knew he was playing a joke on her, again. Georgie took a deep breath.
"Zoe..." Georgie couldn't get the words out. Where's that famous strength, huh? The mocking voice in the back of his mind soundly annoyingly like Digityl. He heard Zoe scoff the pain just under his collar bone intensified.
"Fool me once, Georgie..." she sang, not a care in the world, as she walked away. He collapsed.
'Cause when a heart breaks, it don't break even..
