I *so* wasn't going to do this tonight

Nice shout-out to one of the more memorable eps of X-Files! (Vala mentions watching X-Files to Sol)
Was it an actual date between Daniel and Vala? I honestly think that Daniel doesn't think so. Is he in Denial? Possibly-to-probably. But they're still not a real couple in my mind. Still found the whole thing extremely enjoyable.
Cam! In bed in his boxers! Okay, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I've *never* seen a Stargate actor, hell almost *any* actor do such a good 'shot in the arm' mimic, ever. As someone who had her deltoid muscle cut (the muscle on the outside of the upper arm), I can attest at just how disabling it is. And Cam sticking his hand in his pocket for the rest of the ep? *Totally* realistic, without drawing undue attention to the thing. Yup, did that myself for the first year after my surgery. Quite a number of people didn't realize that I was actually right-handed, since I did most everything except writing with my left.
Seriously, BB gets big kudos from me on that front. Totally believable.
SG-1 finding him handcuffed to the bed, surrounded by junk-food wrappers? Oh, man. The *love*! Sam smirking at Cam always losing his pants? Without being all shy and looking away? So much love.
Cam on the motorcycle? So damn sexy. And his cursing when he was shot. Yup... I like Cam, simply because he's not Jack. If we can't have Jack, then I like Cam. He doesn't try to be Jack, thank God. Trust me, Jack would *never* have let Vala handcuff him to a bed with no pants, lol! The fact that Cam is fallible in a way Jack wasn't is good.
SGA: Lots of great stuff, even though I'm not the biggest Rodney fan around. Adored McKay's sister and his callous way of telling Sam she got herself 'knocked up' by an English major. So much contempt there, but damn, you can see he's trying. I liked how John showed Jeannie the vid that Rodney made back in Season 1. Very touching. Heh, Shep is a romantic at heart.
I'll likely find other things to glee about later, but tonight was pretty damn enjoyable. WAaaah! I don't want Stargate to go away!
