Things that make me go Hmmmm
Yesterday, I broke my bird feeder while I was working on my irrigation system. It was an incredibly cheap plastic tube, so when it fell to the ground, that was it for the poor thing. I've had it several seasons, so I can't really complain.
But the birds can. They're out perched on my back fence looking towards my back door as it they're saying, 'Dude! Where's our breakfast?' Sorry guys, it's on the ground propped up against the fence post.
This morning, I went looking for bird feeders. I do all my research online. I have Amazon Prime, so if I can find something suitable, I can order it Tuesday and have it here by the weekend.

What. The. Fuck?
All the birds I know go to sleep at dusk. I can hear them cheeping in the big tree behind me, getting ready for an evening's rest. I've known this since I was a child and my grandmother told me to listen to the birds getting ready to go to sleep.
This bird feeder has 3 LEDs that turn on in response to activity in the immediate area, which makes it useless as even a BAT feeder. Bats in this area don't eat seeds anyway, they eat insects. Hell, I don't know of any species of bat that eats seeds (like out of a bird feeder). I'd love to have a bat house, but I digress.
I'm not sure what purpose this is supposed to serve.
Hmmmmm.
Well, at least I now have something to think about while I'm getting my hair cut and colored.
