Okay, I need a reference for my next (and probably last) entry for Pornucopia.
I'm looking for the artist/name of that famous drawing of a man. The one with all the measurements and stuff. The man is spreadeagled and it's more science than art, but breathtaking nonetheless. It's done in pen and ink.
I think it was a Renaissance artist or scientist, but I'm drawing a total blank on his name at the moment. I've tried Michaelangelo and Copernicus, but no luck so far. I do remember that this particular person left a metric ton of drawings behind.
I feel like a total idjit because I should know this off the top of my head, but it's not coming to me this morning.
Help?
ETA: I was right - Flist knows all. Many thanks! I can continue now *g*
