Suckage abates... sort of.
Work suckage is a bit better, but I'm still working my freakin' ass off. Ah well. Looks like I actually will get some backup, though I feel bad that it's going to be D who's doing it. It's not like she doesn't already have a zillion things to do already.
I got a big backlog of files uploaded today and made some serious inroads to clearing up some other stuff as well. Needless to say, I'll be working this evening too. I really wish I had time to read some of the fics recced on my flist. I'll catch a few, but I'll have to give the longer ones a pass for a while.
After a whole 5 hours sleep last night, I got to the office around 6 after stopping off at Starbucks for a medium Americano (espresso and water) with half and half. Yum. Also a hell of an eye-opener. I didn't even crash mid-afternoon the way I usually do on that little sleep. Hmmm.
Okay, almost 7 and time to break out the laptop and get to work. Yes, it's a drag, but... I hate feeling so far behind. Actually, I think I'll take my coding out to the deck and work on it there. The weather's kinda... weird, overcast and muggy (for Denver) but not too hot and I can enjoy my backyard sanctuary while I work. That's something! I might even make myself a small drink.
