an end of the year update
i knew i would be making a post about this topic, but wasn't sure when.
i can't believe it's the end of the year. it kinda seems like the year just started. but then again, SOOOOOOOOO MUCH has happened since a year ago. WOW!!!!!!!
some highlights:
--clint proposed to me in nyc on new years day a year ago
--i worked as a kindergarten teacher assistant (that seems like a lifetime ago)
--i got chicken pox this past may - at the end of school - UGGGGGG!!!!!
--i spent a week at the outer banks last may as i recovered from the chicken pox - ahhh, lovely.
--i worked part-time in the summer with a professional photographer shooting weddings
--i taught english to migrant farmworkers from may until september - that seems like a lifetime ago as well
--I GOT MARRIED!!!!!!!!! (CLEARLY ONE OF THE BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE)
--I WENT ON A HONEYMOON TO BELIZE (WOOHOO - THAT ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
--i started an awesome job in october, which i currently have, as a legal assistant with an immigration law firm (I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
I have a really great life - i feel very blessed - i have a great husband, a great place to live, a wonderful job, great friends and family who love me, i make good money - i feel VERY BLESSED AND GRATEFUL.
we as a culture have SO MUCH - we have no right to complain about trivial things, when most of the world struggles - has no place to live or food to eat. we have so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
