I think he was just mad because he thought I was lying to him before, about the snogging and the trip to bath. He just thought I was mental.

Now I really am sort of lying to him and he's chuffed.

Well, it's not exactly lying. He didn't think a girl would kiss you, and now one has, it's none of his affair really if there isn't any more to it.

Though you're right, it's a bit odd.

Yeah. You don't know my dad. Today he asked if I wanted some privacy so I could call my girlfriend. Three times. I told him you didn't have a phone so we had to communicate with magic.

We haven't really had many girls over to the house since my mum went away. I think that made him like you more. And we should NOT have shown him exploding snap. He wants to play all the time, but he needs Dennis to do the exploding... and the snapping... Basically, it's just like playing exploding snap with Dennis, but my dad is there giving orders.

Perhaps we should send back and forth some coded messages, or something. I can send Pig over with some nonsense letters, and he can make up something juicy out of them.

That sounds funny to watch, anyway. And I'm sorry about your mum.

HA! That would be great. You cant believe what a difference it has made, or how much freedom he has given me in just a couple days. He apologized for not believing me and everything. And he said you were "probably the most lovely witch in the Magic Kingdom". Dennis and I think it's funny how he calls it the Magic Kingdom.

Don't worry about my mum. I'm sorry you had to listen to him tell you that whole story. It's funnier if you're a muggle anyway. The have all these jokes about women running off with milkmen. Anyway, she's just stupid.

And yet he thinks I gave you hickies that looked like they were done with a Hoover. Your dad's definitely odd. But that's nice of him, anyway.
