Yeah, but I tried to stop being Spider-Man once before. It ... didn't work out as well as I'd hoped. As long as I have these powers, I will always be Spider-Man.

The last time I tried to lead a normal life? My girlfriend got kidnapped by Doc Ock, and I almost wasn't able to save her. It wasn't until I realized that I had someone important to me that I wanted to protect that I was able to regain control of my powers, so that I could fight to save her.

Wow. No wonder you’re so tired of all the I-have-to-be-a-superhero-thing. Maybe it will be better if you just accept that you’re like that and people will get in trouble, but that don’t mean it’s always your fault.

And you know, there should be something good of being a hero, right? Right? D:
