I find it interesting that there are so few trick-or-treaters around my house now-a-days. I remember going trick-or-treating when I was little and the place was packed. But, now I can hardly get rid of the candy I buy. It seems like a lot of people are taking their kids to trick-or-treating events at malls, or campgrounds, or things like that. My sister works at the Pheasant Lane mall in New Hampshire and she says that the crowd for the trick-or-treating event is huge. And when I camp with my family I have noticed the horde of people that will go camping specifically to take their kids to the camp wide trick-or-treating and haunted hayride. I don’t know if there is a new trend of parents taking their kids to trick-or-treating events instead of actually taking them trick-or-treating, but it seems like it.
