Keepin it Foxy 1.3
Welcome back in the last installment the Fox's were having a bit of a family crisis that none
the less brought them all closer together. Akasha realized some new feelings for Nery
and Nery finally found out why his wife's skin is green. Moving on
It's been a little while now since Akasha experienced the miscarriage and
though she was slowly getting through it there were times where she still
felt the affects. But thanks to Nery she was able to cope.
With everything going on in the house Nery decides to call in sick
from work and spend the day with Akasha while the kids were at school.
Just to make sure she was doing alright.
At first it was just to comfort Akasha but one thing led to another and
Nery ended up holding Akasha again.
A few days later the usual symptoms started happening but this time Akasha
was ready for it. She realized that even though she didn't like the bed rest she
would do anything this time to keep the baby intact.
Meanwhile Wallace gets a job to to help keep the financial strain off his parents.
Now that Wallace is older and bigger Pear has stopped her verbally
abusing him and is enjoying having a big brother. Wallace gives Pear
more attention than Nery and Akasha have time to.
In between work and taking care of Akasha Nery tries to squezze in
some time with his children.
Pear's grades start slipping and Nery starts tutoring her every day before
bedtime.
Akasha hasn't risked opening the business for a few days now for fear of her
sensitive state and funds are too low to buy groceries from the town market
so she's taken to gardening. She only spends a few hours at a time on her feet
then rests so it's been a slow process she just hopes she can get something growing
before the stock in the refrigerator runs out.
Pear becomes a lot more interested in her alien heritage.
Pear: So ma what planet are we from?
Akasha: It's a huge planet about the size of Venus called Partyon.
Pear: So will we ever go to like visit it?
Akasha didn't have the heart to tell Pear that she would never visit their home planet.
Puberty started to take its affect on Wallace and he became aware of the
fairer sex.
Wallace: Lookin good mammy!
Brandi: Come and get it.
Nery was so shocked by this new development he almost broke his neck
observing his sons venture into manhood.
Between school and work Wallace has taken to gulping down mass quantities of
caffeine to stay awake.
Finally after a few months of taking it easy it was time for the new baby to
arrive. Akasha noticed that the more babies she was having the births were
getting easier and easier.
Akasha was so happy at the healthy baby girls arrival she named her Raja
which means hope in her native language1,
Wallace was really happy to have new baby Raja safe and sound he took
up the tasks of helping out to take care of her easily.
On his way home from work Nery runs into Felize Wilcox who is known around
town as a spiritualist her and her husband run the Universal Church in town. Nery
asks if she can come by and visit Akasha and speak with her about some things to help
her adjust. Nery wasn't sure if he should divulge that his wife was from another planet but the
woman would find out soon enough.
Nery's work performance has been excellent and he comes home with a promotion
and an extra bonus they all pack up and move out into a bigger house that isn't completely
finished but Nery likes it that way they will be able to decorate it and design it how they want it
as the funds become available and the family grows.
The first thing Akasha does after they move they're furniture in and get settled is
throw a party Pear's teen birthday party that is.
Pear of course is ready to be all grown up she steps up to the cake and blows out
the candles. Her one wish is that she will be able to learn more about Partyon and her
alien heritage.
Pear grows up to be a beautiful young woman and not bald this time.
But she has retained her mean streak.
Pear: Hahaha lookit you loser's trying to dance!
Akasha and Wayland catch up they talk about old times and why Wayland
didn't become her life partner.
Wayland: I couldn't be with you like that Akasha because...I'm gay.
Akasha: Yeah I figured it had to be something like that.
Akasha: But we can stay friends though.
Wayland: I would like that very much but could you brush your teeth
that cake is making your halitosis act up.
Pear's penchant for making peoples lives a little more miserable starts to rub
off on Wallace as they start to double up and nag they're father.
Nery: Do you mind I'm on the phone?
Funds were a little low when they were furnishing the house Nery didn't plan that
that would happen. There hasn't been a shower in the house for a few days now
and it's starting to show.
Nery: Pew Akasha you smell wretched.
Akasha: I wouldn't smell like this if you hadn't forced us to move there way a
perfectly good shower in our old house!
Wallace on the other hand didn't mind the lack of shower so much it didn't
stop him from studying or anything.
Wallace's hormones were starting to really kick in he spent a lot of time on the
phone speaking to Brandi trying to get her to come by again.
While Pear's horrible people skills has gotten her fired from her first job.
Pear: Who needs those idiots anyways?
Pear hasn't obviously grasped the severity of their need for income right now
with a new baby and a bigger house the Fox's were starting to feel the strain.
