(AT LEAST MY EYEBROWS AREN'T CROSSING IN SEASON FOUR DVD)

That sums up pretty much my feelings too. The Siren deliberately goaded them into the angriest way possible to deal with their bottled up issues. He wanted the fight, the anger, the rage channeled into it and while there was some truth in it, it certainly wasn't the whole truth. Like Dean wasn't so much angry about the lack of trust than he was scared or hurt over it. MY LITTLE BROTHER IS CALLING UP DEMONS AND HUNTING DEMONS ON HIS OWN AND I DON'T HAVE HIS BACK BECAUSE HE DOESN'T THINK I CAN. And more than anything, Dean cannot lose Sam. He cannot handle that again and the frustration of seeing Sam slip away to Ruby and his demon side is heralding that.

I admit that Dean is... definitely more on the zen side than Sam, because this season, it's Sam who's hoarding the rage and the hatred and the need to do something about Lilith, while in season two, that was... Dean, who needed some way to deal with Dad dying but with no clear outlet in mind!

AND STOP SAYING YOU DON'T DESERVE ME I don't deserve you ;;
