Ugh, last night was great. The Academy's singer, William Beckett is a mini Adam Lazarra. Just like him. He saw me singing the words as i caught on, and I got several smiles and a wink. I know it's silly, but it was fun. Pete jumped on stage towards the end of their set. The band in general sounds like a more relaked TBS. Completely different lyrical style, though. I bought their EP and took a picture with Will. Couldn't find the other guys.
Bayside can bite me. I remember a while back when they had ads on fuse, so i checked them out. And I remember thinking they sucked then. So, last night, it really sucked to be stuck in a crowd waiting for their set to be over.
Armor for Sleep. So good. Right away the singer told off some asshole in the crowd. I rather enjoyed that bit. They played some new songs too, sounded good. I wanted to get a shirt, but their were way too many people in line, and everybody i was with had already left the club. Damn.
Fall Out Boy. They definitely got the best reaction out of the audience. There's no reason to say they were great; if you've seen them, or heard about their shows, you know how wild they are. And I like Joe's yellow guitar. I wish patrick would take off his hat though. It's weird to have more of a connection with the bassist than with the vocalist, just 'cause you can't see his eyes.
i got to hang out with a different crew too. justine, aaron, alec, carah, etc. i didnt really interact that much though. i guess i was somewhat more focused on the show than making new friends.
the problem with last night? (it wasnt smoking, for once; i could even take the annoying girls who get pissed off because youre standing so close, like you can do something about it.) i think i pulled a muscle in my left calf. i cant straighten my leg if there's weight on it, and its tender to the touch. so, yay/dammit.
you say you want pictures? well, i might have a few...
will from the academy and myself. looking cross-eyed. and surprised. this is the worst picture of me. ever. but he looks pretty good.
"your camera's not working..."

"oh wait..there."
