I have a great deal of respect for Clark. He argues very clearly and acts very strategically. Great timing and great arguments! White House dwellers come across as a bunch of unsophisticated losers when you hear them trying to counter-argue. Even if Bush is re-elected I'll still applaud Clark's position. His whole life and career is at stake but he is not afraid to go all the way. Unfortunately, the White house is ignoring (or downplaying) what I consider the most important part of Clark's message: that the US invaded Iraq without any evidence that Iraq was threatening the US and that the invasion of Iraq produced more long-term harm to the US than anything else the US could have done. The Muslim extremists of this world will indeed unite against the country that invaded an oil-reach middle-eastern country without a good reason.
I don't expect anything good to happen in Iraq.
