So for my phonetics final one of the questions was like this:

Which is a picture representation of speech, and we had to say what the phrase being said was. Haha. Eff. It's not actually THAT hard, but I tend to only get manner of articulation from these things and have no idea at all about voicing or place. This one says "time is money", btw. I got "t-vowel-nasal-vowel-s-nasal-vowel-nasal-vowel". Which was RIGHT, but really doesn't say the phrase.

Anyway, school is almost complete, I have one production exam for phonetics left and my Russian exam tomorrow.

Oh, kessie~ I got your card! Mine, uh, will be a bit late. But it cheered me up a lot to get it, as I've mostly been hiding out in my room revising lately.

It's not that I'm studious, but I'll never get used to Canadian winters, and walking out the front door to fall thigh-deep into snow and temperatures of -25 is not my idea of goodtimes. I think bears are clearly the smartest of creatures for avoiding the season altogether.
