wheat free

Starting yesterday morning I've been trying a wheat free diet - just for the hell of it. About a year ago Suhaila found out she had a wheat alergy and stopped eating wheat, and afterward she lost weight, had more energy, and had less bloating in her stomach after she ate. I've noticed myself getting a distended stomach sometimes if I eat a bunch of bread or pasta, and Kim said she's been trying a wheat free diet and it's really helped her energy levels and feelings of bloatedness too.

So, the experiment has begun.

I'm not sure how long it will take to notice a difference. I certainly didn't feel bloated at all yesterday, so I guess that's a start. Sometimes after I eat I actually look pregnant and my belly gets hard, so whatever's going on doesn't sound like a normal reaction. It may have to do with my family history of IBS.

I got to say though, it feels weird picking the bag of Lays potato chips instead of the Whole Grain Sun Chips.
