I want to come back to livejournal, but nothing seems momentous enough for the first post in years. So:
Went to see Girl with a Dragon Tatoo, which in combination with books by my favorite whodonit autheur Henning Mankel (and not to mention Ingmar Bergman) convinced me that all Swedes have deep dark horrors buried inside. Oh, and sex maniacs. Buried inside waiting to break out in the most sanguine respectable families. Explains Karlson, I guess.
Cambridge city finally got a new library. It's red and silver and glass, has a big movie section and a kid room on the fourth floor with a giant Wild Thing sitting in the corner. I am slowly perusing their mystery section.
Speaking of mystery, for a nice detective story I can recommend Brick.
My work bought me a nice new MacBook Pro, and I've been waiting for it to ship from Apple for a month a a half. I'm not even excited anymore...
