HOUSEFLIES.

EFF THEM.

I HAVE BEEN DOING BATTLE WITH THE STUPID LITTLE SHITS ALL DAY.

I was about to take a walk around noon and found 5 or 6 flies hanging out on the big window in our living room (that doesn't open and has two windows with screens over them next to it, so no disposing of them by shooing them out). Then more kept coming from nowhere. I seriously lost count of the amount of fly corpses I amassed (I ended up just scooping them into a plastic cup and dumping them in the bushes outside) but it had to be close to 20.

I went to lunch, came back

MORE

FUCKING

FLIES

I have probably killed about 30 of them by now, no joke. I hope this is the end of them.

From hockeyraven:

1. If Godzilla turned Cincinnati into a radioactive wasteland and you had to move somewhere else, where would you choose? (You are being compensated for monster damage and can afford to move anywhere in the world.)

Either Indianapolis or Chicago, because that's where most of my family lives.

2. If you would have a conversation with a fruit or vegetable, what kind? Why? What would you talk about?

Lol, this was an interesting question. I'd probably choose a potato, just because they are so tasty and versatile. I'd, idk, ask it what it felt about being food, especially a staple for humans.

3. If you became one of your RP characters, who would it be and why did you choose them over everybody else?

My answer to this would probably change at least every few days. *g* There are compelling reasons for each of them- Sky and Bridge for the Spandex, Simon for the mad doctor skillz and siblingcuddles, Rick because he's the goddamn Richard Castle. Of course, memory loss would be a drag for any of them. If I had to pick one, I'd probably go with Rick, just because I've played him a ton lately, and I'd love to be able to just be so carefree all the time.

4. Super humid death-sweat Ohio Valley summers or freezing cold nobody-knows-how-to-deal-with-snow Ohio Valley winters?

Heat. I can't really bear the cold very well...

5. What is the last fiction book you've read?

I am slowly but surely working my way through the Dresden Files; the last one I actually finished was Proven Guilty, and I'm about 2/3 of the way through White Night.
