-I don't know if I am officially done with this show yet or not but GOOD GOD, anyone who saw my Twitter rage knows how fucking STUPID and BAD I think this episode was at some points. Especially the resolution to the Eddie storyline. More specifically, when he helped her deliver her baby WITH NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER, including getting the umbilical cord off the baby's neck, and suddenly had a change of heart and let Lynette call the police on him. No... just... no. In all honesty, I DO prefer this to Lynette having lost the baby, but still.
-Forgive me for pointing out the obvious, but. Ah. WHY precisely did Bree care about Sam going to the police? He had no evidence of the crime, after all- just a drunken conversation with Danielle that he had no record of. Bree could have used this to her advantage and gotten Sam off her back once and for all and lied to the police- "see, he'll do anything to get my company from me!". Orson leaving her broke my fucking heart, through, especially after they went through huge efforts to reconcile after her affair and he became paralyzed.
-I honestly couldn't bring myself to care much about Susan's storyline. I love Susan, she's still my favorite character, but the fact that they devoted so much screentime to "OH, SHE'S MOVING" was just- grating. Because we know she'll be back next season.
-I kinda liked that Gabbi got to play the hero and actually didn't fuck it up through Charming Clumsiness, as this show is wont to do. I have to wonder how she's going to react to Bree finally fessing up about what Andrew did, though.
-I actually loved the conclusion to the Angie storyline, which for most of the season felt pretty dull and uninteresting to me. I had an A-HA moment a split second before she raised her hand, smiled at Patrick and said "It's in the detonator." Well-played, well-played.
-It seems like they've set up the big mystery or one of the big subplots for next season- one Wisteria Lane family is going to find out that the child they raised isn't really theirs. Yeeeeeeeah. (Personally, my money's on Susan or Lynette, because they made it a point to show both of them in the opening sequence where they were discussing the dying nurse and how she'd loved her job in the maternity ward.)
-And in another moment of things harkening back to earlier seasons- WHAT THE FUCK PAUL YOUNG?! I guess he finally got out of jail. ... and I'll give season 7 a chance just for him. orz
This season has been disappoint toward this moment, but ehhhhhhhhh the ending still grabbed me. I'm such a sucker.
