SO APPARENTLY LIBRARIES SHOULDN'T PROVIDE DVDS, CDS, OR INTERNET ACCESS.
RLY.
SO SAYS A LETTER-WRITER TO THE LOCAL PAPER.
I only saw a letter in response to that one today, but WOW. The person writing against providing those things says it's "entertainment", and libraries "aren't there to provide entertainment". Because books AREN'T ENTERTAINMENT. ESPECIALLY NOT FICTION BOOKS. AND ANYBODY WHO USES LIBRARY INTERNET ACCESS JUST SITS IN FRONT OF YOUTUBE AND MYSPACE AND NEVER DOES RESEARCH OR LOOKS FOR JOBS OR APARTMENTS OR ANYTHING.
BOOKS ARE BORING GAIZ ;_;
work,
wtf
