... that's kind of amazing.

(That's the same kind of amazing as GO-ONGER's naming, even. I feel this bodes interestingly for his character, esp. if the series really is trending darker for the first half.)

Ziggy. Oh yes. That, IMO, is the best name for a Ranger since Bridge. And I agree, having an unusual name like that means it's a safe bet that he'll be an interesting character.

I'm intrigued. Cautiously. The fandom, however, I think I def. don't want to touch. Oh god.

Oh, of course the fandom doesn't like it. Power Rangers fans hate Power Rangers the way Star Wars fans hate Star Wars, except they take it to an extreme. I stay away from most fandom hangouts except when I have to drag myself to them when compiling for the spandex_report.

AHAHAHA that's okay, I'm used to slash goggles! I like slash goggles! (Except in Gundam 00 fandom, because there the slash goggles come with bonus KILL EVERYTHING when someone deigns to mention the boys might like girls too.)

I was actually gonna say PR fandom reminds me of comics fandom only unhealthier (which is already saying something), but that's basically the same thing.

I hate slash fans who are all "ZOMG HET IS ICKY LOLOLOL". I write a copious amount of Bridge/Sky, but I have a soft spot for Sky/Z and have considered writing Theo/Lily and Andros/Ashley as well.

I... am quite scared of comics fandom, from what little I know of it. XD

Ahahaha we could compare the two fandoms forever, I think; there's so much that's the-same-but-worse on both sides of that argument, and it's one I have had with arionhunter many, many times!

As I PMed Mariko with earlier I am desperately fond of Katie/Trip, I definitely 'ship Billy/Trini, and basically if it's a het couple in PR I have probably shipped it UNLESS IT'S ANDROS /KARONE IN WHICH CASE DIE IN A FIRE oh god I'm sorry but no.

If it's a slash couple I've probably 'shipped it, too. Billy/Jason, Tommy/Jason, Billy/Zack, Rocky/Adam ... I am an old-schooler at heart so those spring to mind first, but I also 'ship Leo/Kai like burning even if I 'ship Kendrix with both of them just as hard. Clearly, the solution to that one is an OT3.

... and also Bulk/Skull which you can't convince me isn't canonical >_>

KAMINEKOOOO. I watched the Azumanga Daioh anime for the first time last year and fell completely in love with it. I haven't read the manga yet, but I'm buying it first chance I get.

Ohhhhhh yeah. Sibling couples (or ones with a sibling-like relationship; Jack/Z squicks me even though their supposed sibling relationship was pretty much forgotten about after the first two episodes) I can definitely do without. Though Andros/Karone reminds me of someone I saw on Journalfen who said they watched PRiS the first time it aired and toyed with 'shipping Andros/Astronema before the Big Reveal. XD

Clearly, the solution to that one is an OT3.Isn't that the solution to every 'ship war? ;) I'm not too invested in shipping in any season aside from S.P.D. and Bridge/Sky is my OTP, but I'll dabble in pretty much any slash pairing. Hell, I've written Sky with every member of the B-Squad and his husband Dru before... it's just Bridge I have trouble reading and writing
