Aww Sky. <3 Someone should tell him you can make your own Squishies when it snows! ....Not yellow ones.
Xander, despite also being from Cali, never had a First Snow experience at FH, thanks to the writers of Buffy being on the Good Crack sometimes. The Season 3 Christmas episode was all about saving Angel-the-vampire-with-a-soul from suicide-by-sunbath (annoying evil thing that only he could see was driving him to it), and just at dawn when he would have burned to a nice crisp.... it starts snowing. Enough to blot out the sun.
Xander, sleeping outside due to avoidance of drunken family Christmas party: WTF?????
I don't think he's in much of a Squishy kind of a mood after falling down and getting pelted by snowballs, though. *g* I was considering making a 4th floor common room post soon where he's left an offering of pitchers of hot tea and apple cider (since as far as cooking skills go, that's about all he can do besides make popcorn ;) ) out for everyone and is sitting on a couch in dry clothes, drinking tea, pining for Dru and reading.

There was never any direct explanation for who exactly saved him, either - I mean, we were clearly meant to see it as one of several higher powers, because Angel is kind of the universe's bitch and his work for them wasn't done, but they never said who.
I really should watch Buffy, shouldn't I? For me, it was always one of those shows where "Wellll, it looks interesting, but I don't want to jump in on the middle of the story, so I'll wait til they rerun old episodes/borrow it from someone/etc." and never did. But now that it's all out on DVD...
Like I said, fuckin' love the boy. &hearts Playing Sky this week really has been like writing a big, doofy puppy in some ways. He thinks he's just the master of the house, but once he gets left at the kennel to play with the other dogs while his Commander is away, he's lost. He is COMPLETELY out of his element at Fandom.
Especially when there are no Grape Judas Squishies available. OH THE HUMANITY.
Seriously, I really, really, really loved that thread.
ETA: And it cracks me up that he and Jen had the same "wow, this snow is wet" reaction. I hadn't read that far in your thread when I pinged the same thing.
:D I loved it, too. I'm glad I took the time to sit down and work out how I was gonna play him beforehand, or else he'd have had half the student body despising him by this point. >>;
NO GRAPE JUDAS. WOE. And he couldn't even get Sokka to mix Red and Blue so at least it would be colored purple. He just had to settle for Blue.
