I commented before with really sad songs XD I love these, you are probably the only author on LJ that I actually comment on but I do so love the civil war and how you parallel what was going on in the US with what was happening in England :)

I remember you! I'm flattered that I'm one of the only authors you comment on. :)

I am trying to find the time to read a book on British involvement in the American Civil War. It's a really interesting topic and I'm intrigued. xD

I'm glad you enjoyed the story. :)

I'm reading one right now that's pretty good it isn't about British involvement per se but it has a lot of background on it. It's about the CSS Shenandoah but it goes into great detail about how screwy the British neutrality was especially concerning the commerce raiders (CSS Alabama, CSS Florida, etc.).
(Sorry, I love naval history XD).

British "neutrality" xD

I sometimes like reading about naval battles, I was doing research on some of the naval battles of the War of 1812 when I was researching a fic that is sort of written, but not... (I didn't like how I spun it so I'm slowly, slowly rewriting it xD)

Oh man, I would be so excited for that... naval history is my favorite... I collect the songs and I know the ships and god I'm going to stop rambling.
I spent some time on a schooner and fell in love with maritime culture and history.

I'll probably get around to it again someday. xD

That's cool! I've never been on a legit ship, only personal fishing boats and paddle boats. xD
