Summary: England has to fight his desire to conquer.
England found himself wanting more than the other seemed willing to give at the moment. The darkness creeped in and haunted him. The desire to control, to conquer was creeping into his consciousness like ghosts from centuries past. He could tell the attentions were being enjoyed before but now they were frightening to him. He lover did not say anything because he loved him too much and that made England's heart ache.
"It's alright, my love, I will stop." he said, willing his own darkness away, kissing away the tears that had grown on the edge of the other's eyes.

Summary: England reminisces during the long nights when he can't sleep.
Laying in the darkness with his lover in his arms he feared, he feared for many things. He would fear that this was all a dream, that he would once again wake up alone. He would fear that someone would find out and fight with them both to tear them apart. They tended to get snippy with each other, when they were at war. He would think of many other things and wonder where the point to it all was. By the end of the night he would lose his haunts and decide to be grateful for whatever they had.
