Summary: America tries to take credit for one of the seven natural wonders of the world.

“Isn’t it beautiful England?” America grinned at him as if expecting a great deal of praise for something that formed before he was even a thought, probably something that formed before England was even a thought.
“I don’t know if you can reasonably take credit for the Grand Canyon, America.” He wasn’t going to deny he was impressed by the sight. He had seen photographs of the Grand Canyon before, but had never gotten a chance to visit it himself.
“C’mon England, it’s part of my lands, and we made it a national park to protect it!”
England leaned on the rail overlooking the canyon. He couldn’t really believe it, when he saw it, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. He wondered why he had never managed to get here before. It was absolutely breathtaking in it’s breadth and beauty. It was truly inspiring. Even America could fall silent in the face of such grandeur. He leaned quietly on the rail beside him and breathed in the dry air of the desert. In the background England could hear the gentle chatter of America’s people and even visitors from foreign places. He even heard a few voices from his own land.
He leaned there in the warm summer sun, and just remained in awe, giving Mother Nature her due for creating something no human could ever dream of achieving. Although he supposed he could give America credit for having a president that was brave enough to save this place for future generations.

Summary: America takes England to an eclectic roadside stop.

“What you are meaning to say, is that it is the most amazing thing you have ever seen!”
“No, I’m saying that this has to be the most ridiculous place you have ever dragged me to. Honestly!” England huffed as he crossed his arms staring up at the large stuffed... he didn’t even know what it was. He decided that only some kind of backwoods American lunacy could come up with such a creature, much less design a museum around it. A museum attached to a gas station, on a road to the middle of nowhere in Wyoming. Sometimes he could not figure out what Alfred’s people were thinking, at least he had proper magical creatures like fairies and unicorns, not rabbits with antlers on their heads. The stuff around the shop professed everything from the creatures being able to sing cowboy songs to only being able to mate during a flash of lightning, and thus leading to very few of them existing. Along the wall a Jackalope license was proudly displayed a fictional date stamped across it from the State of Wyoming.
The tiny “museum” was chock full of memorabilia. Everything from stuffed animals to paintings to a half dozen stuffed heads on the wall. In the center of the establishment sat a large version of the creature, complete with “Ride the Giant Jackalope” on a sign next to it.
“C’mon England! Take a picture with me!”
“I will not be taking a picture next to that thing with you!”
“It’ll be awesome, I promise!”
“It will most certainly not be enjoyable in any way and I am not having proof of coming into such a place with you! Hey!” he yelled as America picked him up and put him on top of it, jumping up behind him, grinning happily for the camera he had set on a timer.
“This pic is totally awesome!” America announced a few minutes later. England made a mental note to delete the picture as soon as possible.

Prompt: Table 37/3. Only once or twice @

Summary: The boys take a relaxing vacation.
Disclaimer: I do not own Hetalia.
It was only once or twice that England would say that America had really outdone himself with the planning for one of their trips. He secretly loved them all, no matter how awful they were, but there were very few he would actually admit to enjoying. This place was fairly high class and comfortable. He leaned in his comfortable chair looking out on Glenwood Springs, Colorado, enjoying the brisk summer air. A welcome change from the dust bowl that still was, and always had been, Denver. He was surprised that they had not gone to Colorado Springs where they normally went when they visited this state, but this was a welcome change. The mountains were really quite lovely, he had enjoyed driving around town and seeing the sights. He even enjoyed it when America dragged him on a mining tour, even though his sentiments about it would not have shown that he did.
He sighed when America draped himself over him, crowding his way onto the chair as well. Normally, England would protest but he appreciated the warm contact after the long day of driving. It wasn’t long before he was sitting more on America than the chair, but if felt good all the same.
“Guess what?” America asked excitedly.
“What?”
“I managed to get us one of the hot springs reserved. No one will be around, it’ll be just us.”
“Then I might be forced to take advantage of you.”
“That’s kind of what I was going for.”
“Git.”
“I love you!”
A blush, “I love you too...”

Title: "The Tide"

Prompt: Table 37/4. The tide is coming in @
5_promptsWords: 265
Rating: PG-13
Summary: A romantic trip to the California coast.
Disclaimer: I do not own Hetalia.
America smiled up at him as he straddled his hips, taking in the entire scene. The sun was setting behind England’s head, his warm green eyes looking at him affectionately before he leaned down, pressing America deeper into the sand, the sound of the ocean inches from them. He could taste the salt from the water on England’s lips since they had just been swimming. America loved the California beaches but having England here made seeing them all the better. He was extremely appreciative of the private beach’s beauty. Not that he was seeing any of it right now. He was too focused on the way his lover was kissing him. He wrapped his arms around him, feeling the skin on his back, a scar here and there breaking the smooth skin. His senses felt as if they could take in everything, from the sand at his back to the warmth of England above him, the waves started to lap at his feet.
He turned his face away from the other for a second, “The tide is coming in we should move.”
England grinned evilly at him, “Maybe we should get a move on.” he said before pressing his lips against America’s again, pressing deeply into the kiss. He was lost in the sensations of touching and being touched and as the water got even deeper around them he sat up holding their heads above water. Eventually they had to give in and get out of the tidal zone, but they only managed to hold out long enough to make it to the beach towel.
