Yes, I think that's one of the challenges with this pairing is taking into account that bit of history. I'm glad that you think I handled it well, because I'm always worried when I try delving into more modern history. My comfort zone is definitely 1800s and earlier. This is one of the reasons I love Hetalia because it gives a person a chance to examine things that actually happened from a different angle.
