He looked around, his companions had disappeared. He was left with only Terra and she was crying. He walked over to her, looking up at her with what he thought was a strong, confident face.
“Don’t worry, we’ll find the crystals!”
“We don’t even know what these gems look like! I worry about hurting you!” she cried. Onion Knight stared back at her.
“I’ll be fine, and I’ll protect you from the bad guys! So let’s find our crystals!” Terra looked up at him, twisting her hands, but she decided she would trust the boy that had so much drive.

Cloud lay on his back in the wasteland, staring up at the stars. He did this more often than he thought he should, but it helped him remember. In his memory it was not rough stone, it was wood. Where he lay was a platform holding water. He wasn’t alone as he started up at the twinkling, gem-like stars.
There was a girl there, a girl that he felt he had seen recently, but couldn’t remember. He wondered if she was here if she remembered him. He sighed, deciding not to think about it. He sleeps, resting for battle.

Tifa watched as the jewel-colored clone disappeared. It blew away, dust into the wind. She looked down at he fingers, they were bruised, some were bleeding. It was painful, but she would have to fight through it.
This was it, the final battle, she was standing beside her comrades to save the world. To save the world so their other companions could continue to fight even after they faded away. She would continue to fight, even if it hurt her, even if it took all of her strength to continue. She would do it for the dream of peace.
