Breakfast could be a lot of things for Alfred F. Jones, the United States of America. Depending on his mood it could be full on bacon and eggs, or something simple like oatmeal. Sometimes he ate toast with jam, or that cereal with marshmallows. On Sundays he was usually ambitious and would create a concoction of an omelet filled with whatever he could find in his fridge with a side of sausage. Each breakfast was usually washed down with copious amounts of coffee.
Sometimes breakfast was shared, he and Canada would joke about eating everything with maple syrup. England would correct him on proper manners and that he never made anything quite right. With Japan he would eat rice, fish and miso. With the others it was whatever they wanted. Breakfast was a time to start the day, read the paper, joke about what had gone on the night before.
It was the most important meal of the day.
A/N: Woo! I did it! Posted at least one thing every day in February! That was actually kind of hard and I almost forgot about today! I'm going to try to write longer stories (maybe attempt a chapter fic, which I have never done in all my years of being around fanfiction (although admittingly not writing it...) Anyways...). Let's see if I come up with anything exciting in March!
