That was an awesome idea! And so well-written. Both the nations are so in-character, though it IS nice to see them getting along for once.

Haha jackalopes... that's like us Aussies with our drop bears. They're a lot scarier than jackalopes, though.

As someone who grew up in in the American southwest (although I haven't lived there for years) and had a friend who genuinely believed in jackalopes, this was a real treat to read. Thank you so much for the nostalgia and grinning that this fic induced.
