wow man, that was pretty intense. Yesh. Poor Bridgey (heh to seeing the big pearly gates thou). Gah how could the girls just leave him there! Poor boy's bleeding, yo!

Anyways nicely done. Can't wait to see if Bridge's dream comes true.

Dramatic license? *g* Actually the first draft of this chapter, written before I had a plan laid out (when I first started writing, I just went at it with reckless abandon because I never planned to even finish this, much less post it), ended with them rescuing Bridge, but the story plan changed dramatically several times, so I decided to make it end with how it is now. Another draft had one of the girls staying to guard him along with R.I.C., but if I had left one of them, the kidnapper would either have had to grab them, too (which seems a bit overkill) or badly hurt them (which I didn't want to do this early in the story).

Can't wait to see if Bridge's dream comes true.

You'll see. ;) In the first few drafts of the story, he was actually watching his own funeral...

OMG!!!

This was like one of those horror flicks you watch where you know the people are going to die so you scream at the TV, "Don't go in there! No, don't open that door--- Ugh! You dummy! I told you!"

Except in this case it would be me yelling at the computer monitor; "No Z! Don't leave him there alone! Get him out now while you can! Syd, c'mon! Agggh!" And then of course Mr. Bad Man shows up and turns RIC into fillet minot. *facepalm*

Though in seriousness, damn this is good! I read your comment to kiko and I am very glad that 1) you decided to post this 2) that you changed it from the original draft.

The dream sequence O_o That was intense. Especially when you included his mother. I'm totally hooked on this, btw! ;)

I read your comment to kiko and I am very glad that 1) you decided to post this 2) that you changed it from the original draft.

I really didn't want to post it, but when I mentioned it over on Journalfen when I first began writing it, my friend ryuutchi took interest in it, which spurned me on. Then through her, I friended Kikos and her enthusiasm gave me the final nudge I needed to finish it and follow through. :) I am glad now I posted it, I think my writing is complete rubbish, but hey, people seem to like it ( ... )

Yeah, if they'd have rescued him this early in the fic, I couldn't have made it as long as it ended up. *g*
