If one were to look at it from a certain angle, all blame was targeted at Kelsey. Who would then switch the blame to Chad or Joel, who would then switch the blame on Dana or Ryan.
None would assume Carter began everything.
Well, okay, maybe Kelsey did start it, but she only got the idea because she was tired of seeing one of her best friends pining after a fellow member of their team. He was worse than Chad, who at least managed to talk to the person he liked, albeit that person was a mermaid.
As it was, the six Rangers were in a pile on the floor. Okay, on a mat that was on the floor.
Joel protested as someone tried to get up, probably Chad, it should be Chad, he was the one of top of the pile, and they pressed down hard on his leg, which resulted in Dana demanding that they hurry up because Joel's mouth was right next to her ear and his shoulder was digging into her back, which caused Kelsey to shrug it off verbally, but she couldn't, because her face was buried in Dana's stomach, so all they heard was a mumble from within the pile, only that mumbling caused Dana to burst into giggles, which made the pile shake a bit.
That only cause Joel to protest again, and finally, Chad managed to slide off the pile and onto his feet. He clasped Joel's hand and helped him up, and only grinned as the Green Ranger quickly composed himself. Dana sighed in relief as she made a move to get up, but pressed down on the body below Kelsey's. That body groaned, and the body behind that body stiffened. Dana slid off, helping Kelsey off of her brother. She expected Ryan to start to get up as soon as the wave of bodies vanished from on top of him, but he stayed put.
He was chest to chest with Carter, whose face was burning red, with either embarrassment or something else, and it was only when Joel coughed at the awkward silence did Ryan scramble to his feet and hold out a hand to Carter, who took it but didn't look Ryan, or anyone else, in the eye.
Kelsey shot a look over to Chad and Dana before grinning. "So. Who's up for another round of Twister?"
