Cool! Yeah for not having a squad of tight-asses! I'm happy that Sky and Bridge didn't totally get a floor-wiping and that they caught another assasin. Like the 'Birdie is an ass' comment from the Sun Vulcans.
No problems here with Charlie as a name, it is very common anyway.
I knew when I conceived the Vulcans that they'd turn out to be cool and not the tightwads Birdie was making them out to be. Because, honestly, three comrades with the personality of Commander Birdie just would've made them go even more nuts, and the kids deserve a break. :(

Yeah, I just totally forgot A-Squad Red also had that name. XD When I was coming up with the Vulcans, I happened to look over at my bobblehead of Charlie Cardinal and went "HMMMM."
And the snuggling is too darn cute!
Isn't it just? &hearts I love getting to write Sky being affectionate. He's so completely devoted to Bridge after getting over his initial hesitation.
I've re-written one of my OCs (Rocky's baby sister) about five times now. And I still think she's borderline Mary Sue. I originally had her going to MIT for college and majoring in Biology. *Gasp* That's just like me. Now she's staying on the West Coast with an as yet undetermined major. I'll figure that out when it's time to start arcing the post-DT segments of my cross-seasonal epic.
I think making a character have some of one's own traits/background, or giving them a connection to a canon character isn't inherently bad and doesn't automatically make a character a Sue or Stu... I mean, Tessie's based on me in looks and a little in personality... but when they take over the story/are only put in for the express purpose of shagging the author's favorite character and so on...
Hey I liked your concept for Charlie...who cares if there is another evil red ranger with that name. I certainly don't. I'm so glad that the Sun Vulcan Squad showed up in time to save Bridge and I really liked the way the story faded in and out as he faded in an out of sleep.

And poor boys. At least they get to cuddle though.

Glad you liked that bit, because I was afraid it'd make him a bit Stu-ish. But then again, Birdie needs somsone who's not afraid to stand up to him.

Yes. Snuggwies for my poor boys after I beat them up some more. Like I told Dvl, I just love writing boylove between these two. Soooo cute.
