So finals are officially not fun. I also haven't been practicing writing in a long time so whatever I attempt will be horrible. This is why I don't really want to write. Actually, I've been re-reading a lot of my older stuff and it's all terrible. Gah.
On the other hand, I've been reading lots of excellent writing! I finished up an instructional book on Haiku in English- I didn't know there were so many rules to traditional haiku, but when you think about it, it makes sense. A lot of English haiku is just...bad.
I've been re-reading Ovid's love poems, which are awesome by the way. If you're fed up with badly written pr0n on aff.net or something, definitely check 'em out. They're not exactly appropriate for all ages, but they're not terribly explicit. The ones from Amores: Book I are my favorite.
Also, here is a link to a wonderful excerpt I found on the Turkish hamam, or bath house. Again, maybe not suitable for all ages, but it's a great piece of narrative writing. Mainly it just discusses nude women bathing together and the female anatomy. It's tastefully done.

Two more days of finals: Tomorrow is English, Wednesday is Arabic.
