I'm glad that Kishi is giving a bit more background on Asuma, Kotetsu, and Izumo, but I really miss Ebisu ;___; I don't know why, but Hidan and Kazuku are just not as loveable as the other Akatsuki members (although I didn't really like Sasori either). They just seem like a broken record.
Sasori was a broken, and strangely human, element in himself. For that discord, I loved him. Also because he was a broken puppet and didn't need personality but had emotion. That was cool. In it's way.
Kotetsu and Izumo I like seeing in action, along with Aoba and Rasdkj whatever his name is (too tired to think properly) but I agree - heh, Ebisu was funny and damnit isn't he supposed to be nifty?

I don't know, I wonder what Kishi has up his sleeve. At this point, I'm not expecting too much >.> Hopefully there will be another bit of comic relief before we get to that point. Leave the angst to Sasuke :3

YES. Especially because Kishi was going on and on about a "strong kunoichi" and she gets knocked out in one hit by Hidan who is a pansy. Maybe she isn't the "strong kunoichi," but I'm seriously wondering who else it could be.
To be honest, Kissyfishy cheated with Hidan's VooDooDaddy shit. She was bleeding, and apparently it only takes one hit, and that is SO LAME.
Who else? Can't be Sakura, since Kissyfishy already copped her out by going from "lol bye bye Sasori" to "lol Sai says bye bye as she falls from bridge."
Yeah, that was really pathetic. I just wish Kishi could give backstory on the characters he already has without introducing new less-than-par ones *sigh*
He's already grasping wildly for things to do, it feels, even if someone said he knows where he's ending and stated so in an interview. Perhaps he does. Either way, gah.
(I'd like to say I think this means Yugito is alive, by the way, given what Leader was saying in the most recent chapter. I can be wrong, but I really want to be right. *whistles*)
