For once I can have some national pride like all of you KoreansFor those who have no idea what Eurovision is, it's an annual contest where the most popular bands from several European countries all compete. Then you can call in and vote for your favorite act. It's the place where ABBA got famous, and most of the acts are sickeningly sweet

So you're Finnish? Congratulations!!! I watched only a part of the contest but my brother found Lordi's video clip about two weeks before the Eurovision and we laughed a lot when we saw it. But we laughed even more when we saw the points!!! I think that's a real win! When we here all the crap the real TV and such force us to here, I'm glad people decides to vote for some hard music!!! No more crappy mellow songs!!!

Well I'm a tiny bit Finnish, I guess I'd just call myself "Western European" since I'm also Norwegian, Swedish, Italian, German, and Irish/British XD So I won and lost!

I'm so sad I didn't get to watch the contest this year! It doesn't air on U.S. channels, so the only way I get to watch it is by going over to my grandpa's house (he pays extra for German channels).

I didn't see the French act, but I'm going to watch it when I get home; I'm on a school computer.

I'm also glad! I think a lot of Finnish people didn't like Lordi, but have learned to accept them now XD

Aw, I liked the French act! I'm embarrassed because I only understood about 1/3 of it >.> The French songs always seem very sophisticated to me. I love them ♥ ♥ ♥

Hahaha! We have sooo many of those songs around here that they all sound alike for me now ^_^;;
You don't have to be embarassed because you didn't understand all of it, it's always pretty dificult to get lyrics in a foreign language!
