Hooray! I just found the "Filter Friends Page" to limit my blog reading to people on my friends list who have something to say.
Unfortunately, with more "friends" on the list, I have to read more blogs to keep up and I recently found that there are some blogs that I don't really care reading - smalltalk, blah, collection of links, lists, favorites, videos, public B-Day wishes (wouldn't an email be more personal anyway?).
If I read a blog, I want to get to know the person, much like reading a book or a biography in progress. I don't need to be entertained by posts that just contain a bunch of 3rd party links or, well (sooooorry!) stuff that I am not interested in.
The next question would be: Do I keep 'em around as friends or quietly remove them?
How should I define who is a LJ friend and who is not?
