To the Great Spirit
Oh Great Spirit, God, Jesus, whatever name you go by, stay my hand and make mute my tongue, lest I use them in anger. In thy infinite wisdom and mercy, keep me from my rage. I am but a simple man who practices the old ways and lives by the creeds of the older generations. Hear thou my prayer and give heed to my request so that I might not offend those who are easily offended. I need help, Great One, I need thy guidance. Amen
