School's been rough. To cheer up, I went to see Jackass Number 2 et Little Miss Sunshine with pan19; it worked :) Also, Hugo Chavez gave me the lols earlier this week.
There are so many cool ways to say futbol, ja? Fussball would be German. There's a Bremen match right now, but hopefully it'll show again later. Got up ass-early to watch Dortmund live. Metze clearly needs to heal faster. The defense lacks balls.
Then I watched Livorno v AC Milan, which ended as a nil-nil tie. In any case, I'm glad that the Rossoneri have 2 pts instead of -9. Champions League match on Wednesday against Lille! I don't think it'll be on TV, but that's what Uefa.com's for, n'est-ce pas?

Milan looks so different this season. The commentators are still talking about Sheva (waaaah) and all the new arrivals. There's a new Brazilian striker, Oliveira; Gourcuff, who's an attacking MF; Bonera in the back, and other n00bs who aren't as good-looking as the rest of the team. I guess it was smart of Ancelotti to bring in fresh new talent to balance out the older players [that should be on their way out, ahem]. Not that I don't like Maldini and Costacurta, who are forty-something, but will they still be fit by the end of the season? If the Rossoneri want to win the Scudetti, they need to be energetic and strong the entire season.
Also watched Real Betis v Real Madrid. RMA is like Chelsea, ManU, and Inter to me. I like some individuals, but then I remember that they're all sellouts in the end. Anyway, during the game, Cicinho injured his own leg early on and Roberto Carlos got an elbow near his left eye in the second half...poor babies. Those two plus Robinho are the Trinity of that team. Brazilians always have an excellent workrate. They go for everything. Cassano (Italian striker) does that too, but Il Capitan d'Italia hardly gets involved. Sergio

DC United's playing the Red Bulls at home tonight, but my parents ditched me to go to yet another fucking dinner party. It's live on FSC, but physically being at a game rocks so much harder than watching at home. At least my parents left me with some Baja Fresh grub. :[ ETA: DCU won 4-3 and the Baja Fresh was good.
