Speed Racer
So, yesterday, Chris and I didn't get out of bed until like one thirty. But it was so nice, and we'd stayed up until like three, so we deserved to sleep in. Then we rattled around the house for a few hours, went to Bickford's for some food (I had an awesome breakfast themed lunch, those pancakes were so good) and headed back to the apartment. We relaxed some more, and then headed out about eight.
I drove! I did so awesome driving yesterday. I only stalled once at a traffic light, but I restarted it and got it going again the first time. I seriously am in love with driving this car. It's therapeutic. When I said that to Chris, he was like, "I told you that when you learned, you'd love it so much, it would be like an OCD thing!" And I just grinned and shook my head at him.
But we saw Brokeback Mountain last night - yes, the Gay Cowboy Movie. It was such a good movie though! I was half expecting it to be kind of, well, dirty and to feel a lot more... controversial, maybe? But it truly had and kept the entire essence of a beautiful love story. As Chris said, I can see why it's been received so well. Honestly, it's one of my favorite movies now, it was just done really, really well.
Irony: a movie about the wild west was done by Ang Lee. Ha.
I guess that was it for yesterday. This morning, I woke Chris up with my sexiness and thusly seduced him, so we made love for a while, which was nice.
Oh yeah, the other day, we had come home to pick up my ID because my wedding rings came in! (Remember, they had to specially make mine because they couldn't size them down so far, my finger is a size four, so I'd been wearing bigger rings with spacers in them.) But when we got to the mall and to the jewelry store, they wouldn't give me my rings without an ID. But I was like, who else would know that a pair of size four special order rings came from Shaw's in Virginia, etc, and... ::gasp!!:: Would have the matching pair on her hand with spacers!!! Good lord, I was so frustrated. And I was even more frustrated because they were supposed to call me when they came in, but they didn't, and we almost didn't even find out they were in until this other lady was like, a package from VA? Top drawer, I think...
But anyways, Chris was very sweet and let us go home to get my ID and go back to get them that night. But in between... mwahaha! When we got home I again seduced him and we had a quickie! It was sooo hot... my boots were on and he just flipped me back on the bed and pulled my pants and underwear down, lifted my legs, and pounded me. I love it hard. But it really was hot, doing it like that, so quick, quenching our desire in one quick flame. Then we went on our merry way!
And my rings are beautiful. The lady at the store in VA who worked with me said that when they specially made a ring, they usually used the very very best diamonds, and I can so awesomely tell. These rings just sparkle and shimmer with rainbows and glowingness. Plus, it's nice to wear rings that fit for a change.
And let's see, I'm not really sure what our plans are today, but I know I'll be driving! w00t! Last night after the movie for about half an hour, Chris let me just drive around, and it was great. I did really well. I'm excited about driving some more today, too. I guess that's it!
