JuLee's first day at work.
YAYYYYYY!
I finally managed to get a job.
Well yesterday I worked, but it was only orientation.
And today I was put in the sales floor all by myself while the assistant manager was on register and engraving.
And when I say by myself, I really mean by myself.
It was only me on the sales floor from like 10-4, and I'm glad I didn't panic and completely mess up when we got a room full of customers.
I managed to reach my sales goal for the day.
I hope I did good and didn't mess up completely on an order!
At first I was kinda not excited about this job since I tend to be a shy person.
But the trainer manager yesterday pulled me aside and told me, "I usually don't hire shy people, but I think you'll do okay. Plus you don't look shady."
LOL
And she kept on picking on me for being shy. (I think I charmed her with my girl-ish charm...lolwut?)
But I think this alone just made me wanna try harder and do my best.
It sounds cheesy, but it really did.
After all, she believed in me enough to give me a job.
So I should give my 110% best.
After work I went to Sarku Japan, and ate their Teriyaki special. It was delicious!
I really want some more.
I think today was a good day.
So, next I work Wednesday. I hope everyday can be fun, and I can get the hang of it to the point I don't mess up on pricing (we have to memorize prices for engraving). I am a perfectionist when it comes to jobs.
I am only a seasonal worker, but I hope I can stay longer because I truly enjoy this job.
