What happens when your names become synomymous with actions
As above, what does happen. Well I guess it depends on what meaning you assigned to a person's name. For us it's been funny.
Lu Wee = stalking/stalker
Why? Because she has her lecturer's private phone numbers in her phone. Mysteriously appears on MSN when you least expect her to. She notices the most trivial of things about people and knows information about our lecturers that we were never aware of.
Eleena = come to class/be present in campus
If you see her even once at all in one teaching week, it's either (a) There is a Lab that day for which attendance is complusory (b) There will be an exam soon (c) She has a meeting. Otherwise, expect minimal appearance. She scares the daylights out of us when she actually does appear in campus. XD
Shu Ling(ME!) = calculator/secretaryperson/printer/photocopier/...
I get assigned all the weird jobs. The UC who came to visit us looked all around the class of 70+ people and settled on me to be his 'volunteer' to record feedback. I was screaming why in my mind. Apparently I looked volunteer-ish. I also print/photocopy stuff often, be it notes or projects or report. Lu Wee dubbed me the calculator because of the role I play in projects and reports. D=
Fariza = imitator
Hahaha. This is funny. She does the best impressions. Of our lecturers mostly. Like Dr. Chua. It's for fun, we mean no harm at all. We haven't exactly come to a general consensus as to what Fariza is but I think i'll settle with this.
So when a normal conversation would resemble the following:
A: Hey did you see Lu Wee stalking Miss Lau?
B: Nope. Did Eleena come to class today?
A: Didn't see her. Can you do an imitation of Dr. Chua?
B: No ask fariza. Would you mind calculating this for me?
Ours would look like this:
A: She's Lu Wee-ing Miss Lau.
B: Did she Eleena today?
A: Nope. Can you Fariza Dr. Chua?
B: You'll have to ask her to do that. Mind Shu Ling-ing this equation for me?
Hahaha XD. Our conversations may not always look like this, but it'd be great fun if they did. I love my friends. Minus Lu Wee perhaps. The big bully
