Haylan and her brother Branden used to do this every year. You take the first sentence of the first entry of each month of the previous year. It kind of sums up your year in 12 sentences. I didn't make entries for one or two months out of the twelve last year but...
January:
I moved into my house and it RULESSSSSSSSSS! I am rarely home though. I moved in and then went to the other side of the island for New Year's weekend the day after.
(I know that is more than one sentence but it is the complete thought)
February:
OLIVER GETS HERE TOMORROW!!!!!
March:
I was riding with my mom in my dad's truck and we slammed into a telephone pole...totalling the truck.
No April
May:
I am so glad I moved away from Austin. I was a total brat before I left and seemed like I was going downhill fast.
June:
I miss everything!!1 I can't wait to be in Austin!
No July...we were on the road
August:
Today I cooked.
September:
Isn't it strange..how when everything is going well, most people are unhappy.
October:
Having your boyfriend carry you into the shower as you pretend to be like Michael from Peter Pan...priceless.
November:
First off, I don't know how updated LJ is on the whereabouts of my parents.
December:
I randomly loved that above mentioned rap song...but I am referencing in an obscure way...I have been here
ONE WEEK. I got here last Wednesday.
Wow. That is pretty good. Highlighted the major events of the year.
