I really hate being brought back to Earth.

I hate hearing about some petty shit when all I think about is travelling, learning about and trying to understand other cultures and trying to be a better person (or at least my definition of it).

So in the midst of that, hearing about some bullshit reasoning of girl-induced drama just about kills me. I pretty much spent my entire day alone which I love to do fairly regularly. I slept in late (woke up in a friends' house after a fun night), I cooked two HUGE delicious meals, I drove around and listened to whatever I felt like, went to see a good friend's show alone, and thought about how damn happy I am to be home.

SO happy. Seriously.

Why do people waste their time and brainpower for negative thoughts?

Whatever.

I just can't comprehend it but like everything else...just more life experience.

I can't wait till Tuesday. I cannot wait til my Anthropology class. I don't care how many times you've heard/read this...it's true!

I am super glad to be hanging out with Ben tonight. I never get to see him anymore and I missed him a ton while I was gone. We barely kept in contact while I was gone. That sucked. He is a super important friend of mine.

I want everything to happen. NYC, my "own" place, a dog, visiting my parents, school...ugggghghghh

Never wish for time to go faster though. I always have to remind myself of that one.

Oh, by the way, I have been reading The Chronicles of Narnia (I read some of them when I was 9) and I am on book 6 of 7. I love them. Aslan is such a badass.

I am going to start Perks of Being a Wallflower after this....then probably Pride and Prejudice....then probably Robin Hood...then probably....etc etc etc

Oh yeah and I forgot to post this around New Year's Day but...

Books I Read in 2008:

-1984
-The Ruins
-Brave New World
-A Seperate Peace
-Box Car Children (loved it when I was little and hadn't read it since)
-Several other children's books from my childhood
-Gathering Blue
-the 3 Postsecret books that I don't have
-The Great Gatsby
-The Good Earth
-Into the Wild
-most of This Side of Paradise (but I didn't like it)
-White Fang
-Slaughterhouse Five
-The Stranger
-half of Chronicles of Dunces (I had to turn it back into the library)
-The first four books of Narnia (in the original order aka starting with Lion, Witch)

ha ha, dang. That is actually more than I realized.

Sorry for the unorganized post but that is what I wanted to say and how I wanted to say it.
