Reading Jewish Shlock on tape
This week sucked and didn't suck at the same time. If you look at in from the outside you'd say "hey that's a pretty good week to have". My week wasn't exactly difficult. I wen to work, which I love, and I have a weekend with friends coming up. What could be wrong? I think Wednesday did me in.
Now don't get me wrong, I really do like my internship but Weds in seminar day which means I have to get together with all the other interns and talk about...you guessed it, being Jewish. Some of the interns are very nice, some I'm not so fond of, and some just drive me nuts. If you think I'm pro Israeli well wait till you meet some of these guys. I'm not too fond of liberalism either. Don;t worry, I'm still liberal, but almost every speaker we get is of a liberal mindset. Who do you have to conform to so you can get some Republican controversy in the mix? I admit I'm not buddy buddy with the other interns. I guess I just don't want to make the effort because I'm lazy and I just know too many Jews!
On a brighter note I got to go to JBI which is the Jewish braille institute in New York. They read books on tape. You can get anything from Talmud to trashy romance novels. I wonder how that must feel, to listen to a desciption of sex on tape. I guess if you're a blind horny teenager, stick to braille.
