i am officially fourteen years old again!

so, i got braces. and i look like i'm fourteen.
let me tell you, there is nothing sexier than a whole mouthful of barbed wire. :)
in other news, i've lost almost twelve pounds since i started my "change of lifestyle" (note: not a diet)! and the sun is shining, too- so i can't be too sad about my heinous appearance. :)

oh ps? sorry to lindsay and shannon and liz mingle and the pie-making crew for not showing up. i swear i had every intention, but i ended up spending that entire weekend in the hospital with my father, who suffered a minor heart attack that night. however, thanks to an incredible series of events that i am still too amazed to even fully grasp at all, the doctors are 100% unable to find absolutely ANYTHING wrong with him or his arteries, and have called it an "act of God". which certainly sounds about right to me. laugh all you want, folks. Jesus is still healing people. :)
that said, we should get together and do sumpin the next time peeps is home from college- i miss everyone! let's have a pyjama party or something. let's dance around in our underwear or go to a playground at night or have a picnic or something. i just feel like livin'.
