Oh dear. This isn't how I would have chosen to wake from a nap. Thrown out on my rear... dang...

At first I thought there'd been some mistake, but then this lovely woman showed up and told me otherwise. I recognize her from the war...

Gosh. This is just... not good. I'm starting to worry here. No one seems to know who I am---mind you, I'm not so ( Read more... )

Fitcher... the mayor of Muse. Or at least I was. Sheesh. Some people have no patience for uncanny magical happenings.

They didn't have to throw me out.

Uh, hey, don't I know you from somewhere?

It sure wasn't fifteen years ago for me. You wanna run that by me again?

Oh, I guess it happened to you as well? I'm still getting used to this, but apparently Leknaat, the lady you met, has been zapping people from different points in history and giving them journals for some reason. I don't know much more beyond that.

Fitcher it is then. I suppose my rank hardly matters anymore, either.

Ah, that was her name. She's a funny one, isn't she?

I guess not. It's a shame, after all that hard work we did.

Fifteen years, huh? I hope I got re-elected at least once.

You think that's odd? You should see where she lives...

It'd be great to be able to pop about like she does. Though... when one thinks of that sweet little girl who helped us out... perhaps that kind of magic has ill effects in the long run. Heh heh.

Which little girl was that? Viki? You don't know the half of it.

That could've been her name. I wasn't in the castle a lot of the time.

Not knowing the half of it... that wouldn't surprise me.
